An Academy and Church Partnership

CHRISTINGLE - December 2019

The Children have been collecting money in their Christingle candles to take to church on Friday December 20th.

Money donated supports The Children's Society, helping children who need care, security and support.

ADVENT BOX PROJECT November 2019

       This year we were fortunate to be invited to join the Quarry Chapel in Cam in their Advent box project. A group of pupils worked with the Church community worker to create beautiful origami stars. The box is on display throughout Advent and each night a new box is illuminated. 

BISHOP ROBERT VISITS THE ACADEMY April 2019

Bishop Robert of Tewkesbury blessed our Academy on Friday April 5th 2019. The children really enjoyed being showered with holy water! 

THE GOOD SHEPHERD PROJECT April 2019

      Dursley Primary enjoyed the touring sheep, as part of the Good Shepherd Project, naming it "EWELME". Ewelme took part with the children at work ............                                                      ...............and play.
