Work at Home - Year 3 and Year 4

Because the week beginning 13th July is the last week of term, it will also be the last upload of home learning. Have a great summer holiday!

Below you can download the latest weekly tasks to try at home.

You will find a mixture of Purple Mash activities and other activities that you can do without Purple Mash.

This week's spellings are in the main home learning document.

Update for parents - 5th June

Thank you to all the parents who completed our Home Learning Survey, especially those who took the time to provide longer comments. The results were overwhelmingly positive. The vast majority of our families are managing home learning well for their children and selecting activities which best suit their circumstances from the choices we are providing. There were many comments in support of the feedback teachers are giving on Purple Mash and most parents felt the amount of work supplied is about right.

Remember, if you feel you need further resources for your child, we recommend you look at the Oak Academy website and BBC Bitesize. Links to both of these are below.

We are hoping to be able to speak to all our families at home via telephone over the next couple of weeks so we can follow up any specific queries you may have. Thank you again.

Update for parents - 27th May

For those year groups to whom school remains closed, guidance from the government points parents and carers to national initiatives which have been set up including Oak National Academy and BBC Bitesize. However, we feel our children have been amazing at accessing work through our own bespoke systems so far, where we are able to better tailor work to their needs and so we would like to carry on offering our own provision. Links to these two programmes are below if you would like to look at some of the activities they offer, in addition to what we are sending each week.
