The first was a parents meeting survival kit for all the teachers filled with snacks to keep them all going during the evening. Thank you to Louise, Lloyd and Sarah and the rest of the school association for making these surprises happen!

Many thanks to Kev from KW cleaning services, Leigh, Khan, Pete, Violeta and LLoyd for their fantastic work in the junior playground. The School Association has bought 30 Glockenspiels along with a new music curriculum to help teaching and learning at the Academy. These year 6 pupils were the first to use them and were making an amazing sound. They were playing "Living on a Prayer" in their first lesson!

Dursley Primary School Association supports the battle against climate change. We run regular textile collections to recycle good quality useable clothing via the Rags 2 Riches collection scheme. Thank you to everyone for supporting the last collection which also raised important funds for the Academy. Every penny raised goes back into supporting the children of Dursley Primary Academy.

Every year, the School Association join the Round Table Sleigh Run to help raise money for local good causes. We undertake the largest route of the year and manage to cover 13km and hundreds of houses bringing Father Christmas to the doorsteps of Dursley. This popular event is a great part of the Dursley Christmas tradition and the School Association are proud to help keep it alive.

We are also grateful recipients of funding from the Round Table and this year received a donation of £400.
